JyotishWay ("we", "us", "our") operates the JyotishWay mobile application (formerly AstroVeda). This page explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

Information We Collect

• Account information: name and email address when you register or sign in via Google or Facebook.
• Birth data: date, time and place of birth that you voluntarily provide for Kundli (birth chart) generation.
• Usage data: app interactions and feature usage to improve our services.

How We Use Your Information

• Generate your personalised Vedic birth chart (Kundli).
• Provide daily horoscopes, Panchang and AI Jyotish Guru responses relevant to your chart.
• Maintain your account and authenticate you securely.
• Improve and develop new features of JyotishWay.

Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored on secure servers. All data transmission between the app and our servers uses industry-standard TLS encryption. We do not sell, trade or rent your personal information to third parties.

Third-Party Sign-In

You may choose to sign in using Google or Facebook. When you do, their respective privacy policies govern the data shared with them. We only receive your name and email address from these providers.

Data Retention and Deletion

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us. Upon request, all personal data will be permanently deleted within 30 days.

Children's Privacy

JyotishWay is intended for users aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via the app. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
